Training and Development

Many of us believe that learning happens only in schools. We fail to see that learning is in fact an on-going process and it can happen to anyone, anywhere and anytime.

As individuals living in this fast moving society, it is crucial that we remain knowledgeable and competitive. What we know and how proficient we are in the skills that we have acquired determines our "market-value", efficiency and competency level. It is therefore important that we "invest" in ourselves to constantly upgrade by learning new skills or improving those that we have already acquired.

At CEMEX SSC we take our employee?s personal and professional development seriously. We invest heavily in developing practical learning activities that will help our people achieve their career aspirations.

CEMEX SSC does this through three main channels:

1. Trainings

Training Center - within it our trained Colleagues give inside trainings to other Colleagues, such as Lotus Notes, SAP, Excel, Power Point, Basics of Accounting, Cultural Differences and Presentation technics.
During 2010 we plan to enlarge our training portfolio. Come and join us, participate in our train the trainer programs, and share your knowledge with your workmates!

mely keretében képzett kollégáink tartanak belső tréningeket a munkatársak számára, pl: Lotus Notes, SAP, Excel, Power Point, Könyvelési alapismeretek, Kulturális különbségek és Prezentáció technika tréning. 2010. folyamán további tréningekkel bővítjük portfóliónkat. Csatlakozz Te is csapatunkhoz, vegyél részt a train the trainer programokon, és oszd meg tudásodat a kollégáiddal!

Moreover:

  • 2 day On-boarding training for new-comers,
  • language courses: English, German, French and Spanish,
  • Leadership Academy,
  • other special professional trainings.

2. E-learning

Our dedicated educational resource is the CEMEX Learning System offering more than 150 e-learning courses in different fields from accounting to HR planning.

3. International Assignments

Where there is a business need, an employee may be asked to work overseas on an international assignment. Typically, this will involve working in a foreign country for a number of weeks, months to implement the integration of that country?s operations into the shared services centre.
